Job Description:

Montefiore is currently looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team at our Woollahra campus. A current opportunity exists for those seeking permanent, part time employment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working within a team of 11 Occupational Therapists and 2 Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Includes regular staff in services and opportunities for CPD
  • Being part of a highly skilled and committed multi-disciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologist, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants
  • Working to exceed the standards of Aged Care provision in Australia

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Occupational Therapist with APHRA
  • Experience with pressure area care, cognitive assessment, seating and wheelchair prescription, functional assessments, falls prevention, and equipment prescription
  • Efficient time management and priority setting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, promoting an environment of teamwork.
  • Ability to work across sites as required
