Job Description:

Located in the heart of Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced cardiology, neurology, surgery and more. The Valley Health System (VHS), with seven hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, is looking for exceptional people who share our vision and values. Job Responsibility:

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting ADL functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the AOTA academic and intern requirements for competence
  • Nevada State Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
