The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. May be required to direct the work of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard. Demonstrates competence in care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor. Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Physician orders are present and written correctly. Documents follow up of identified problems. Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals. Demonstrates coordination of care by appropriate communication with other disciplines and team members and documents that communication as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Meets agency/regulatory requirements as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Documents appropriate management of visit utilization and authorization status as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Meets regulatory requirements for supervisory visits as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

Requirements:
Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist student/intern required
Completed an accredited Occupational Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA OT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA OT License
Occupational Therapist: CA (OT:CA) within 6 - months
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) upon hire
Driver's License: CA (AUTO:CA)
