This full-time role focuses on providing direct and consultative therapy to about 30-40 students with a variety of abilities and needs. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide onsite therapy and support to Early Childhood students in South Holland, Illinois. This full-time role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 29th. You’ll work alongside five other occupational therapists as well as a multidisciplinary team to support students and address their fine motor and sensory regulation needs. Job Responsibility:
Provide full-time occupational therapy services to students, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-3:00 PM
Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students across both classroom and individual settings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders
Utilize IEP system for management and compliance
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning
Requirements:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (IDFPR)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Dependable, flexible, and dedicated to supporting the fine motor and sensory regulation needs of students
