Job Description

Responsible for assessing the risk in hotel work environment to minimizing associates’ illness and injury during work hour. Inspecting hazardous factor in the work environment, quality of equipment or facility that used by associates. Lead the organization toward a healthy and safe work environment by advising, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that verify safe practices in the workplace.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess risk in hotel work environment to minimize associates' illness and injury during work hour
  • Inspect hazardous factor in the work environment, quality of equipment or facility used by associates
  • Lead the organization toward a healthy and safe work environment by advising, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace and engaging staff in programs that verify safe practices
  • Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Verify uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette

  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Occupational Health and Safety
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
