Job Description:

The COACH – Community and Opportunities at Children’s Hospital – internship program mission is to create a pathway for emerging healthcare professionals, offering hands-on experience, structured development, and dedicated mentorship. The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate scheduling of appointments and completion of forms
  • Communicate with new hires for employment needs, collect and assemble new hire data, and transact new hire data entry in the appropriate system
  • Support OHS Clinicians related to employee visits, medical records, and correspondence with other medical providers
  • Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
  • Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate college student in good academic standing
  • Enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026
  • Interest in working in healthcare
  • Experience with data entry
  • Communication skills and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills
