Job Description:

Responsible for assessing the risk in hotel work environment to minimizing associates' illness and injury during work hour. Inspecting hazardous factor in the work environment, quality of equipment or facility that used by associates. Lead the organization toward a healthy and safe work environment by advising, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practices in the workplace.

Job Responsibility:

Assess risk in hotel work environment to minimize associates' illness and injury
Inspect hazardous factors in work environment and quality of equipment/facility
Lead organization toward healthy and safe work environment
Advise, monitor, and report in the workplace
Engage staff in programs that ensure safe practices
Follow all company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure quality assurance expectations and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science, Major Occupational Health and Safety
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to assess risk in hotel work environment
Ability to inspect hazardous factors in work environment
Ability to lead organization toward healthy and safe work environment
Ability to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Physical ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Physical ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
