Ensure the appropriate documentation, recording, and reporting of all work-related illnesses and injuries for employees of the contract company. Maintains the computer-based tracking system and compiles required reports and records. Coordinate cases between health care providers and the contract company.
Job Responsibility:
Oversight of the local TOIAP program to include data entry into Risk Master, verification that all forms have been completed, filing claims with CHS if medical attention is given/required, and submitting all documentation pertinent to the injury to CHS
Other issues related to associate injury management are supported, i.e., a daily dialogue with CHS and/or the OM nurses regarding outstanding claims and updates, logging ED write-off bills, and coordinating transitional duty placement
Weekly update to the OSHA log, pay period reports to Payroll, annual survey for the U.S. Department of Labor
Provides office support, including cross-coverage of the other associates, development of payment authorizations for medical services, and ordering supplies
Work with each coworker to ensure the highest level of customer service
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree in related field preferred
Exceptional organizational skills required
Proven ability to work well under pressure
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, to include Excel graphics and report formatting
One year of workers’ compensation experience preferred
