An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join a leading private healthcare service supporting corporate clients across Greater London and the surrounding Home Counties. This role is ideal for a physician with strong clinical and communication skills who is passionate about workplace wellbeing, preventative healthcare, and employee support. The successful candidate will work closely with employees, HR teams, and corporate stakeholders to deliver high-quality occupational health services within a modern hybrid working model. Job Responsibility
Deliver expert occupational health assessments and consultations
Manage occupational health caseloads including triage assessments, absence management reviews, workplace health consultations
Conduct initial consultations (60 minutes) and follow-up consultations (30 minutes)
Provide clinical advice on employee wellbeing, fitness for work, workplace adjustments, occupational risk management
Act as trusted occupational health advisor for corporate clients
Build strong partnerships with HR teams, managers, employees
Support client engagement through meetings, presentations, consultations
Help embed occupational health services within client organisations
Produce detailed client reports outlining activity, risks, service outcomes, measurable benefits
Participate in peer review, clinical audit, quality assurance activities
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
Support holistic employee health and wellbeing programmes
Promote proactive and preventative occupational healthcare approaches
Requirements
GMC Registration with a licence to practise
Minimum 1 year NHS experience
Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to work independently within a hybrid environment
Strong IT and report-writing skills
