This contract position involves ensuring compliance with housing regulations while assisting tenants and applicants with rent calculations, eligibility assessments, and other administrative duties. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while delivering exceptional service.
Job Responsibility:
Calculate rent based on applicants' income and ensure accuracy in assessments
Evaluate housing eligibility by reviewing applications and supporting documentation
Prepare and issue notices regarding rent adjustments and other tenant updates
Conduct interviews with applicants and current tenants, scheduling re-examination appointments as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate records of tenant information and related documentation
Schedule and coordinate appointments for interviews, orientations, and re-examination sessions
Draft thorough and precise correspondence, including letters, memos, and other communications
Assist in developing marketing strategies to minimize vacancy losses and improve occupancy rates
Interpret and enforce housing regulations to ensure compliance with eligibility rules
Protect sensitive tenant information by adhering to confidentiality protocols
Requirements:
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems with a focus on excellent customer service
Competence in data entry tasks and email correspondence
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, applicants, and colleagues
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for administrative tasks
Ability to organize files and maintain detailed records
Experience in scheduling and managing appointments efficiently
Nice to have:
Knowledge of housing policies and regulations is a plus
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
