Job Description:

Join our team as a locum tenens obstetrics physician in a dynamic healthcare setting that includes both clinic work and hospital deliveries. Your schedule will involve both clinic hours and on-call duties as needed, providing essential care in obstetrics to a varied patient population. Enjoy the flexibility of contributing to both daily clinic operations and hospital-based childbirth care in the charming city of Burbank, CA.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies
  • Perform and interpret fetal heart rate tracings and OB ultrasounds
  • Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, C-section, and breech
  • Perform office and minor gynecology procedures like IUD insertion, colposcopy, and LEEP
  • Engage in surgical gynecology procedures, both laparoscopic and open

Requirements:

  • Active CA license and CA DEA
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency in both routine and complex obstetric procedures
  • Expertise in managing a variety of prenatal and delivery scenarios
  • Skilled in both minor and major gynecology surgical techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with hospital staff and clinics
