Amgen’s Center for Observational Research (CfOR) is seeking a dynamic scientist in Korea to join our team. CfOR leverages real-world evidence to support drug development, inform regulatory decisions, and improve patient outcomes. As a global organization, CfOR consists of highly talented data scientists, epidemiologists, statistical programmers, and operational experts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading research based upon secondary data sources of health information (e.g., medical claims, electronic health records, registries)
  • Design and conduct studies to enhance understanding of disease natural history
  • Design and conduct studies to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medicines
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and creative problem-solving for methodological challenges
  • Conduct research to highest standards of the profession
  • Advancing Amgen’s observational research capabilities
  • Collaborate with Amgen’s global network of epidemiologists and the academic community
  • Leverage data resources and enhance our analytical capabilities
  • Engaging with key stakeholders
  • Coach and promote awareness of the appropriate use of observational research
  • Communicate scientific findings effectively to internal teams, health authorities, and the broader scientific community

Requirements:

  • PhD in pharmacoepidemiology or a related field
  • Record of publications in observational research
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
