Job Description

A facility in Fort Morgan, CO is seeking a Locum Tenens OB/GYN physician to provide crucial obstetric coverage. This position offers a 24-hour call schedule with opportunities to work 10-15 shifts per month, meeting the needs of a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents. Start providing care as soon as June 2026, with ongoing dates set to be released from August 2026.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide general OB/GYN services, including managing deliveries and applicable procedures
  • Ensure timely and effective patient care during on-call hours
  • Collaborate with the support staff and maintain efficient communication with general surgery and minimal urology backup

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (0-5 years post-residency)
  • Active CO license or IMLC, with LOQ in hand at submission
  • Active BLS certification highly preferred, must be obtained during credentialing
  • Active DEA certification highly preferred, required for credentialing
  • Completed EMR training and understanding of requirements
  • Clean medical and professional background, with a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
