Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services for all phases of obstetrics care from ante- through postpartum, which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Provides care within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Serves as a nursing resource to the facility with the ability to provide care in a variety of inpatient areas/units.

Requirements:
Graduate of a school of nursing
1 or more years Labor and Delivery or NICU experience
Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing with eligibility to work in the state of MO
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of hire/transfer
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) upon completion of orientation
Nice to have:
Bachelor Degree Nursing Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Previous NICU experience
Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) - National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC)
