Background in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a Field Technician in PV Solar and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
Qualified Electrician with valid industry-recognised certifications
Good mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills
Proficiency in electrical systems design and solar connections
Up-to-date industry-recognised Authorised Person (AP) course (HV AP2 / AP3 Authorisation)

Job Responsibility

Actively participate in all Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities related to overall site improvement and maintenance of LV and HV electrical networks
Manage and provide hands-on support for the delivery of all maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed efficiently and safely
Ensure full compliance with the Company's Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs)
Produce in-house Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for LV scheduled works
Promote and ensure electrical safety across all sites during LV or other electrical works
Assist in developing and refining maintenance procedures to improve performance and reliability
Identify and coordinate external resources or subcontractors required for specific maintenance activities
Liaise with the Operational Management Team and site operatives to address day-to-day operational issues
Perform Electrical Site Technician duties, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs
Promote a positive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) culture across all O&M activities, recommending continuous improvement initiatives

5+ years’ proven experience in maintenance or construction of solar projects, with strong knowledge of the renewables market
5+ years’ experience in supervising/managing mixed teams (O&M contractors, technicians, vendors) for solar project operations
Solid experience in contracts management
Strong Health & Safety competencies
Willingness to work in a split schedule: approx. 70% office-based, 30% field-based
Demonstrated ability to achieve contractual KPIs (PR, Availability, Response/Repair times)

Job Responsibility

Manage PV plants & BESS portfolio, ensuring all O&M works meet contractual scope
Coordinate with in-house teams, O&M partners, and subcontractors for preventive & corrective maintenance
Plan, schedule, and implement maintenance procedures in line with manufacturers’ recommendations
Monitor KPIs (PR, Availability, Response/Repair Time) and ensure compliance with guaranteed values
Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation of all O&M activities
Liaise with grid operators and ensure compliance with local regulations, H&S standards, and company policies
Oversee spare parts management, stock replenishment, and ticketing system for faults
Manage supplier selection, RFQs, contract reviews, and support negotiations for new agreements
Communicate with clients through regular update calls and deliver daily/monthly/annual reports
Support project completion by working on FAC punch lists and securing FAC certificates
