Job Description

As the O&M Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our solar energy plants. Your role includes maximizing energy production, managing maintenance teams, ensuring smooth system transitions, and fulfilling service contracts. You’ll bring a hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills. Your expertise will be key in optimizing our solar operations and ensuring reliable energy output.

Job Responsibility

  • Overall operation and maintenance
  • Responsibility for “own” plants
  • System monitoring to maximise the energy production
  • Management of subcontractors or internal personal, electrical and mechanical maintenance works, inspections and repairs
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance works
  • Problem solving, Data analysis or Reporting, yield reporting and documentation
  • Warranty tracking & spare parts management
  • Ground maintenance management
  • Taking over systems from the installer and making them operational
  • Guaranteeing all obligations arising from existing service and maintenance contracts

Requirements

  • Experienced in renewable energy as an engineer or technician with a strong hands-on mentality
  • 3+ years Solar PV O&M Experience on Utility Scale Solar or experience as a Wind Technician
  • Relevant qualification in an electrical / mechanical or engineering discipline
  • Certified for Schneider Electric XC, Huawei and Sun grow is a plus
  • Highly mobile, especially in terms of travelling international
  • Well-versed in the use of MS Office software
  • Can work independently and on your own responsibility
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer orientation
