NYS Certified Teacher (Long Term Substitute)

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile NYS Certified Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching GED courses to school-aged students and facilitating the teaching of employability skills and uncover opportunities for secondary students. This dual-role position requires a passion for education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs. Term Dates: Approximately March 2, 2026 - June 30, 2026. About the A+ Program: The A+ Program offers a balanced educational experience for students within an 8:1:2 classroom ratio. It is designed for students identified as having Autism or exhibiting neurodivergent characteristics. Students in this program may display social-emotional delays, academic skill deficits, sensory or processing needs, and expressive and receptive communication challenges. The A+ Program promotes individualized supports, evidence-based instruction, and collaboration to help each student reach their fullest potential.
