Job Description:

Job Title: Nutrition Support Dietitian (Requires CNSC Credential). Location: Baylor Scott and White- Memorial in Temple, TX. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple is a 630 bed, not-for-profit medical center located in Temple, Texas. It is part of the Baylor Scott & White Health system, which is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas and one of the largest in the United States. It is a Level I Trauma Center offering specialized centers including the Cancer Center, Heart and Vascular Institute, Neuroscience Institute, and Transplant Institute.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
  • Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential required
  • Texas State licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • 2 or more years of clinical nutrition experience, including experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have two years’ experience working in Nutritional Support
  • Must have at least 24 months of clinical practice experience in the specialty field
  • Must have a current Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential
  • Maintain dietetic registration, state-required credentials and/or licensure, specialty credentials, and continuing education requirements
  • Must have completed an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
  • Pass a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
