Job Description:

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nutrition Assistant I to join our Dietary team. This role is essential in providing high-quality nutritional care to our residents and patients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with meal preparation, including portioning, plating, and serving food
  • Follow established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with food inventory and ordering
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met
  • Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian and other dietary staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with special dietary needs, including allergies, intolerances, and therapeutic diets
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Fire Safety card, within 90 Days
