Job Description:

As a Nutanix Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Nutanix infrastructure, including hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) systems. You will provide technical support, implement new systems, and ensure the stability, availability, and performance of Nutanix environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide ongoing technical support for Nutanix environments, addressing hardware and software issues reported by internal or external users
  • Administer, operate, and manage Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Configure and deploy Nutanix hardware and software components, including setting up virtual machines and storage solutions
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and perform troubleshooting to resolve issues proactively
  • Analyze logs to identify issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future occurrences
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Requirements:

  • Typically requires 3-7 years of experience in system administration, specifically with Nutanix platforms
  • Proficiency in Nutanix technologies, including Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and Prism interface
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems is often essential
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical problems effectively
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or similar certifications related to virtualization or cloud technologies
