Our students access a broad curriculum aligned with national standards but personalised to their unique interests. With small class sizes, high levels of support, and a multi-disciplinary intervention team, we ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve. The Role: We are seeking a Nurture Teacher to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the school's journey from its early stages. You will be based at our main site with occasional requirements to work at our nearby satellite site. Main Purpose: To deliver high-quality teaching and learning for students with complex needs. Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties and may present with challenging behaviours. You will work to create a supportive environment that fosters both academic and emotional growth.
Job Responsibility

Contribute to curriculum development
Maintain short, medium, and long-term plans
Set and review personalised targets
Work within a multi-disciplinary team
Contribute to EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews
Monitor and report progress to parents, senior staff, and external funding bodies
Use non-confrontational methods to manage challenging behaviours
Stay current on issues regarding autism
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in special school settings, specifically with ASC and SEND
Ability to deliver a differentiated curriculum and strong National Curriculum knowledge
Understanding of SEMH needs and complex presentations
