Job Description

Nurture Teacher Required at New SEN Secondary School. Salary: £34,398 - £48,913 per year (M1 - UPS1 Fringe). Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus for Qualified Teachers. Category: Education, Position Type: Permanent Full-Time, Hours: 40 hours per week. About the School: As part of a strategic growth plan, a brand-new SEND Secondary School opened in September 2025 in Surrey. The school caters to young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. Our students access a broad curriculum aligned with national standards but personalised to their unique interests. With small class sizes, high levels of support, and a multi-disciplinary intervention team, we ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve. The Role: We are seeking a Nurture Teacher to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the school's journey from its early stages. You will be based at our main site with occasional requirements to work at our nearby satellite site. Main Purpose: To deliver high-quality teaching and learning for students with complex needs. Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties and may present with challenging behaviours. You will work to create a supportive environment that fosters both academic and emotional growth.
