Nursing Home Cook

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with diverse dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
• Ensure timely and efficient food service to our residents
• Develop and implement menu planning and budgeting strategies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality meals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience for our residents

• Prior experience in cooking, nutrition, or a related field preferred
• Experience in a long-term care setting or similar environment is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and move equipment and supplies as needed
