Job Description

Nursery Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible. This nursery provides a warm, child‑centred, and well‑organised learning environment where pupils benefit from nurturing adults, strong routines, and engaging early years provision. Leaders work closely with staff to maintain high expectations, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and ready to explore. Children respond well to purposeful activities that encourage early communication, curiosity, and steady developmental progress.

Job Responsibility

  • Teach and support children aged 3–6 with a range of SEND needs
  • Deliver engaging, play‑based activities that support early learning
  • Adapt planning to meet diverse developmental and sensory needs
  • Foster social and emotional development through consistent routines
  • Work closely with support staff to deliver high‑quality provision
  • Assess children’s progress and provide verbal feedback

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development
