Are you a passionate Early Years educator looking for a role that offers a perfect work-life balance? We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join our friendly team in Hatfield. This is a dedicated morning position on a 1 year fixed term contract, ideal for someone who loves the energy of the classroom but wants their afternoons free. This role is set to start from September on a 1 year contract until July 2027. You'll be joining a setting that prides itself on creating a nurturing, imaginative, and safe environment where children are encouraged to explore the world around them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver Engaging Learning: Plan and implement creative activities aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Observe & Assess: Track child development and maintain up-to-date records of progress
  • Foster Growth: Create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that supports the social and emotional well-being of every child
  • Collaborate: Work closely with a supportive team of practitioners and maintain strong communication with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Level 3 Early Years Qualification (minimum)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Recent professional employment references
  • A genuine love for working with children and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Local to Hatfield or within an easy commuting distance
