We are recruiting for a permanent, full-time Nursery Room Leader for a beautiful setting in Haywards Heath. Job Responsibility
Oversee the daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Mentor and support a small team of Nursery Practitioners, promoting best practices in Early Years education
Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers, providing updates on child development
Ensure the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and compliance are met at all times
Requirements
Must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or BA in Early Years)
Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting
Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Team Leader is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, excellent team-working abilities, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies
Must have the right to work in the UK for a permanent role
