Job Responsibility

  • Provide daily guidance to your room team
  • Conduct peer observations
  • Lead 1:1 sessions to identify training needs and maintain high standards
  • Oversee all planning and provision ensuring curiosity approach for age-appropriate, stimulating activities
  • Effectively deploy staff and resources to ensure statutory ratios
  • Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding procedures, daily risk assessments, and health and safety policies
  • Build and maintain relationships of trust with families
  • Manage EY Log for observations
  • Provide professional, warm feedback on child development

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification (Level 4 or above is highly desirable)
  • Proven experience in a senior or Room Leader capacity
  • Track record of excellent practice and team supervision
  • Creative, reflective leader
  • Professional role model
  • Ability to implement new ideas
  • Foster collaborative team culture
  • Ideally suited for candidates based in Crawley or those within comfortable commute of Three Bridges/Crawley stations
  • Right to work in the UK
