A friendly nursery setting in Brighton is looking for a caring and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join their early years team. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children through play, routine, and positive interaction in a nurturing environment. The nursery is looking for a Nursery Practitioner who can settle quickly into the room, build warm relationships with children, and work closely with the existing team to support each child's development. The setting has a calm, child-focused approach and values staff who are patient, practical, and confident with early years routines. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children with learning activities, personal care, mealtimes, outdoor play, and general day-to-day nursery provision.
Job Responsibility
Supporting children across the nursery setting
Helping with play-based learning and early development
Assisting with personal care, snacks, and daily routines
Creating a safe, warm, and engaging environment
Working closely with other nursery staff and room leaders
Observing children and supporting their next steps
Building positive relationships with children and families
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or higher
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A caring, patient, and reliable approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding and child development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
