Job Description:

Join our team as a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner. Located in the lovely seaside town of Whitstable, our nursery was formerly the Whitstable Railway Station. Our three open plan ground floor rooms are full of engaging resources, all designed to create a home-from-home nursery environment. We love to explore the local area with the children and will go on frequent outings; making the most of our seaside location with walks to the beach as well as the harbour, library and park.

Job Responsibility:

Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care
Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others

Requirements:

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Right to work in the UK (unable to offer sponsorship)
Enhanced DBS check
Satisfactory references
Verification of essential qualifications
