At Alvechurch, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together! To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Nestled in a grand converted house with breath-taking views of rolling fields, Sandhills Day Nursery Alvechurch offers a truly unique environment for any child’s early years. Across our seven main playrooms, each designed to foster a child’s curiosity and development, our nursery is a busy but passionate environment to work in. Conveniently situated within 30 minutes of Birmingham city centre, just 2 minutes from junction 2 off the M42 in the beautiful village of Alvechurch. There is an ample area for staff to park.

Job Responsibility:

Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care
Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
