Job Description

We are recruiting dedicated, Level 2 or Level 3 (or above) Qualified Nursery Practitioners for daily and long-term roles at a variety of welcoming nursery schools, pre-schools, and day nurseries across St Neots and the surrounding local area. This is a wonderful opportunity to join energetic, creative teams who are dedicated to giving children the absolute best start in life through high-quality early education and play-based learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Long-Term Placements: Enjoy the security of a consistent schedule within one nursery or pre-school for a term or a full academic year. Track the milestones of a specific key group of children, build deep relationships with families, and become an integral part of a close-knit team

Requirements

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (such as CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare and Education, or a degree in Early Childhood Studies)
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and a passion for supporting child-led learning
  • A warm, nurturing, and patient nature, with the energy to keep pace with enthusiastic young children (aged 0 to 5)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with room leaders, parents, and colleagues
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to undergo a new application)
