Job Description

As a Qualified Practitioner, you will take a proactive role in the daily education and care of our children. You will use your knowledge of child development to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Act as a key person for a group of children, monitoring progress and maintaining accurate developmental records
  • Build strong professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Ensure highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety
  • Provide guidance and act as a positive role model for support staff and trainees

Requirements

  • Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Genuine love for Early Years education and commitment to high-quality care
  • Excellent communication skills, reliability, and strong team player mentality

Nice to have

  • Baby room experience
  • Nursery assistant experience
  • Nursery nurse experience
