We’re looking for passionate people to join our Butlin’s Team over our Summer Season. Working alongside a fantastic team, we will support you every step of the way to ensure you gain the skills and confidence to truly get stuck in. As a Nursery Practitioner you will provide an exciting and wide activity programme, assisting in providing a safe, supportive and caring environment to ensure that all aspects of each individual child’s development are given full consideration; ensure that clean and hygienic standards are maintained at all times. We are Flexible with hours however you will need to be available on a Monday and Friday. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract aligned to our busy seasonal period. About You: Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people. Key responsibilities will include maintaining and following all Health and Safety policies and procedures; be proactive in the process of activity planning, child observation and development records on a regular basis; maintain confidentiality about all matters related to children, their families and the business; help and support with day to day care of the children’s routines.

Requirements
Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with a good knowledge of the EYFS
Hold Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 is an advantage
Have good communication skills
Have a problem solving attitude
Are confident to work on own initiative as necessary, but to be able to work as part of a team both large and small
Have the ability to relate to a wide range of people
Hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate is an advantage
Nice to have
Hold Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 is an advantage
Hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate is an advantage
