Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated, caring and fun-loving nursery nurses to join our New Nursery. The positions available are working in a state-of-the-art nursery based in the heart of Sheffield. Full-time positions are 35-42.5 hours per week. Schedule includes 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, No weekends.

Job Responsibility:

  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children within our setting
  • Liaise with Parents/carers
  • Provide fun, educational activities to suit the age and stage of our children
  • To keep a record of achievement file on your key children, supporting their individual needs & learning
  • To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring all of our policies and procedures are followed and implemented

Requirements:

  • Qualified level 3 or above
  • Warm, kind and have a passion for enabling children to be the best that they can be
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Eager to learn and develop as a practitioner
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to early years development
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Dronfield/Sheffield, South Yorkshire before starting work
  • Experience in Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience in Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Successful DBS check
