Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and proactive Early Years practitioner? We are looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse or Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing early years team in Newham. This is a vital maternity cover role where you will play a key part in supporting the learning, care, and development of our youngest pupils.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take responsibility for a group of part-time nursery children, ensuring their individual learning and development needs are met
  • Contribute to a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment across the wider nursery
  • Carry out routine care tasks, observations, and support the planning of EYFS activities
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all children

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Extensive nursery experience within an early years setting
  • A strong, working understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Reliability regarding the strictly non-negotiable working hours (8am-4pm)
