Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, and inspire nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education
Create nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's all-round development
Build positive relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies
Oversee nursery operations including staff schedules, budgets, health and safety, and compliance
Act as a mentor fostering culture of continuous improvement
Promote ethos and values of The Old Station Nursery
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
Lead inspections and maintain accurate records for EYFS framework and Ofsted standards compliance
Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Proven experience in an Early Years leadership role (e.g., Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or comparable position)
Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education
Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor, motivate, and drive a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with passion for creating brighter futures for children
