Nursery Manager

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery
• provide a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for every child
• lead by example, spending time with your team, supporting them on the floor, coaching their development and celebrating their successes
• build positive relationships with parents
• work closely with external professionals when needed
• make sure safeguarding and children's wellbeing remain at the heart of everything you do
• oversee occupancy, budgets and compliance, ensuring the nursery runs smoothly and continues to grow

• Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum (Level 4 or above would be an advantage)
• significant experience working in Early Years, including at least two years in a management role
• passionate about giving children the best possible start in life
• enjoys developing and motivating others, helping teams to grow in confidence and ability
• strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
• can balance delivering exceptional childcare with the commercial responsibilities of running a successful nursery
• communicates openly, leads with kindness and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed

Level 4 or above Early Years qualification
