Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our setting. You won't be flying solo, you will be supported by a dedicated Admin Assistant for parent enquiries and Sarah, our finance lead, who handles the heavy lifting on the accounts. This allows you to focus on what matters most: quality of care, staff leadership, and the happiness of our children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the daily operations and ensuring Ofsted compliance
  • Mentoring and managing our team of 22 staff
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for up to 46 children
  • Liaising with the admin and finance teams to ensure smooth communication and reporting

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a leadership role
  • DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) qualified
  • Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Community-focused mindset
  • Ability to lead a diverse team with empathy and wit
