We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community in Cornwall. Job Responsibility:
Support the planning and delivery of a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum in line with the school's educational principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Provide individualised support to children, including those with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included and able to access learning activities effectively
Assist class teachers with daily classroom management, including setting up learning resources, maintaining a stimulating environment, and ensuring safety and well-being of pupils
Support the personal, social, and emotional development of children, promoting positive behaviour and resilience
Supervise children during breaks, lunchtimes, and other unstructured times, fostering social interactions and a caring environment
Administer first aid and respond appropriately to health and safety needs, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers to support individualised learning plans
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, embodying the school’s values of respect, kindness, and collaboration
Support school events and activities that promote community engagement and holistic development
