Nursery Cook

At Stowmarket Pre-School, we’re looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together! To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid Food and Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate strong knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements. Previous experience in scratch cooking, baking, and menu preparation is also required. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Pay: £13.95 per hour. Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 40 hours per week. Location: Stowmarket Pre-school, Ivy House, Station Road East, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 1RQ. As a Cook in our nursery, you’ll: Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for the children. Plan menus and manage food orders, ensuring everything stays within budget. Create fun learning experiences by engaging in baking activities with the children. Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with health and safety standards. Experience preparing and cooking delicious meals, previous experience of working with allergens, a Food and Hygiene certificate, drive, passion and care for your work.
