Job Description

Wilmere Lane Nursery School is seeking a Supply Nursery Practitioner to provide cover for children as needed, including during holidays, sickness, or vacancy gaps. The role involves creativity, hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games within EYFS standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed
  • providing cover for periods of holiday, sickness, or vacancy gaps
  • supporting for a full day, or a morning or afternoon session

Requirements

  • Enjoys supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children
  • born to teach and shape the future of younger generations
  • natural, nurturing, openness, warm and positive outlook
  • cares about learning and education standards in the UK
  • Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar
  • unqualified Educators considered if demonstrating right values, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for caring for and supporting others

Nice to have

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
