Job Description

Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you hold a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in a nursery setting? If yes, we got you covered.We at Randstad Education are excited to be working with a wonderful nursery in Stockport , and we're searching for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a CACHE Level 2/3 qualification who is eager to contribute to the growth and development of young children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be part of a supportive, friendly team, helping to create a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and learn through play.

Job Responsibility

Assist in the planning and delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding and toileting
Ensure a high standard of care and safety for all children
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the nursery team
Encourage children's learning and development through play-based activities

Requirements

CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred but not essential)
A genuine passion for supporting children's development and learning
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
