Job Description:

Do you enjoy helping children discover the world around them? Randstad is recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistants to support high-quality nursery settings with flexible and ongoing opportunities. You will work within a friendly early years team to support children's learning and development, contributing to an environment where children feel happy, confident and encouraged to explore. This role suits practitioners who enjoy creative play, problem solving, and building nurturing relationships with children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting room staff with planned EYFS activities
  • Engaging children in sensory, messy, outdoor, and small-group play
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate observations and records
  • Ensuring each child's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Helping with sleep routines, meals, and personal care
  • Building strong communication with your team and parents
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Confidence supporting children aged 0-5
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent early years care

Nice to have:
