Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
To have an engaging and energetic personality
Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience
Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Have a lovely warm smile that makes our children feel welcomed and special

Requirements

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour
Leadership qualities to support the nursery team effectively
A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development
A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transporting children or materials when necessary

Support the lead nursery staff in managing children’s behaviour positively and constructively
Participate in planning and executing engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children
Observe and report on children’s progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary
