Job Description:

We are seeking Nursery Assistants available to start immediately. Are you a creative, imaginative, and passionate early years educator? Do you thrive in a nursery setting with modern resources, outdoor learning opportunities, and spacious classrooms? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Nursery Assistant at our independent nursery in East Grinstead. About the Nursery: Average-sized nursery supporting approximately 75 children. Split rooms for various age groups (Babies, 2-3, and pre-school). Privately run (family) nursery with competitive rates of pay. Supportive, valued, and long-standing team and senior leadership. Awarded 'Outstanding' by OFSTED. Boasts brilliant resources and outdoor learning areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting young children from newborn to Age 5
  • Understanding of the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) programme
  • Ability to meet the needs of every individual child and feel confident working in both small and large groups
  • Capability to provide 2 references (1 must be from the last employer)
  • Demonstrable 10-year employment/education history
