Job Description:

Are you a warm, nurturing, Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant looking for flexible and rewarding opportunities in early years environments? Join Randstad's network of early years professionals and help young children learn, grow, and thrive in safe, supportive and engaging nursery settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare practitioner who enjoys working across different rooms and supporting a variety of age groups. You will be involved in delivering high-quality care and early education to children aged 0-5, working alongside experienced practitioners and room leaders.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting children's learning through planned and child-initiated play
Helping to set up creative and age-appropriate activities
Encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and independence
Assisting with feeding, nappies, toileting and general daily routines
Contributing to observations and supporting progress tracking
Ensuring the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well organised
Following safeguarding, EYFS and health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Experience working with children aged 0-5, either through placements or employment
A positive, professional and reliable approach
