Job Description:

One of the areas's top nurseries is looking for a Nursery Assistant to support their children on a part time basis. The nursery will offer training and support however applicants must have previous experience as a nursery assistant This nursery is at the heart of the community and is commended for its values ethos.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing engaging and interactive activities for the children in your room
  • Contribute to providing a stimulating environment
  • Meet the individual needs of the children
  • Keeping children safe
  • To assist with meal times
  • To work in accordance to the EYFS

Requirements:

  • Relevant nursery experience (Must be able to provide 1 childcare reference)
  • Relevant early years or childcare qualification that is level 2 or above
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • CACHE level 2 or 3

Nice to have:

  • able to build relationships
  • baby room experience
  • be a role model
  • behaviour management skills
  • communication
  • nursery assistant experience
  • nursery nurse experience
