Job Description:

Compass Associates are delighted to be supporting an established elderly care provider in the appointment of a Registered Nurse Home Manager for a well-performing care home in the Glasgow area. This is a high-profile position within a stable and ambitious organisation, responsible for leading a large, high-occupancy care home delivering high-quality nursing and residential care for older adults. The provider benefits from strong internal support, low agency usage, and an experienced peer group across the region. The incoming Home Manager will be a visible, confident and values-led leader with the ability to maintain excellent standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure strong commercial and regulatory performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care
  • Provide strong direction and support to clinical and care teams
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and positive working relationships with external partners
  • Uphold high standards of quality, governance and service delivery
  • Manage budgets, staffing levels and overall operational performance
  • Build positive relationships with families, external stakeholders and community partners
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, learning and team development
  • Drive a positive staff culture within a stable and settled team

Requirements:

  • Be NMC registered (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
  • Have proven leadership experience within elderly nursing care
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain or improve quality and regulatory outcomes
  • Have a strong understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding and person-centred care
  • Be confident in leading large teams and managing complex services
  • Possess excellent communication, relationship-building and decision-making skills
  • Be commercially aware with experience overseeing budgets and service performance
  • Be an adaptable, visible and approachable leader with a strong professional presence
