Job Description

TMC Health is currently recruiting several advanced practice providers to join our new hospital employed cardiologist model. We have expert staff and state-of-the-art technology for patients including testing, procedures, surgery and rehabilitation. TMC performs more cardiac procedures than any other hospital in Southern Arizona with one of the most active cardiac rehabilitation programs in Arizona. TMC Health treats structural heart conditions, heart rhythm/vascular disorders, cardiac catheterization and heart surgeries. This role is outpatient only and will be at our new clinic in southeast Tucson, near Cienega High School/Vail. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Two (2) or more recent years of related experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not required
  • RN experience in a Cardiac Specialty is also helpful, but not required
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or must be National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner eligible
  • Must become credentialed at TMC through the Professional Staffing Office prior to appointment
  • Must have and maintain a current Arizona state license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner including prescriptive authority
  • Must obtain and maintain a current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License for prescribing controlled substances
  • Must obtain and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support.
