Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (NP/PA) for a full-time family practice role in Carmichael, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of family practice experience. Competitive compensation and a positive, team-oriented work environment are offered.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive family practice outpatient care, including physical exams, lab testing, EKGs, splinting, and other on-site services
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient treatment in collaboration with the medical team
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment that values collaboration, compassion, and professional growth

Requirements

  • Current CA, PA/NP License
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in family practice
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of patient conditions
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based healthcare environment
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
