Job Description

Baptist Health is seeking a full time Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our top-ranked and rapidly-growing inpatient team at our Hospital located at Jacksonville Beach. This Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will join an established program that provides quality inpatient care to our overnight patients admitted from the emergency department.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct overnight rounds
  • Assess patients
  • Administer treatment as necessary
  • Provide quality inpatient care to overnight patients admitted from the emergency department

Requirements

  • Master of Science
  • Certified ARNP or PA
  • Licensed ARNP or PA
  • One year of Inpatient or Hospitalist experience required
  • Over 5 years Nurse Practitioner Experience Required

  • Responsible for clinical care of acute, subacute and chronic disease processes including appropriate utilization of ancillary clinical staff and subspecialty services
  • Rotate throughout Greater Charlotte Hospital Medicine teams covering vacancies and high census
  • Rotating schedules based on vacancy with a focus on prioritizing 7 on 7 off schedule
  • Holidays, weekends and extended hours are required (nights are not required)
  • Shifts may include cross cover responsibilities
  • Teaching opportunities with APP students and ACPP fellows
